Just last week, my classmates and I were organizing a launching event of our video documentaries as part of our assignment and final products of class Broadcasting Journalism and Video Production. It was a successful evening with a lot of audiences that were coming out of our expectation. We expect only 200 audiences to come, however, on that event we had almost 400 people who came to our event. It was an outdoor screening with beautiful area outside of our department, inside the most beautiful university in Cambodia, Royal University of Phnom Penh.
Aulularia. The event, however, was joined by many distinguished guests such as vice-rector of Royal University of Phnom Penh, Mrs. Sous Man; a famous Cambodian film maker, Chhay Bora; a creative producer/filmmaker, Sok Visal, artist and lots of students. My video documentary is: Still Remaining: French Colonial Architecture in Cambodia. Well, this is something to remember for my last year in media management degree. Eyes of horror game. I hope that this spirit will move to the next generation to organize this kind of event successfully and fruitfully. Oh, and by the way, I was chosen to be an MC again. So here is the script during the event: Excellencies, Lok Chumteav, Acting Director, lecturers, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen.
Good Evening! First of all, I would like to introduce Mr. Rin Sokreth and I, Rom Molyka the senior students of the Department of Media and Communication, as well as one of the producers of No Comment Cambodia part III and we are the hosts of the event this evening. On behalf of the organisers and DMC batch 11, I would like to extend my warm welcome to His Excellencies, Lok Chumteav, Acting directors, lecturers, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen for giving your honour presence to the launching of a new series of video production, No Comment Cambodia part III 2014. (APPLAUSE) Today we are honor to present you 8 video documentaries which produced by DMC Batch 11 under the support of Department of Media and Communication as well as the GIZ. On this occasion, we would like to introduce you to the agenda of the event: To begin, there will be a film poster and DVD release celebration from the acting director of the DMC and our special guests from RUPP.
